Role Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Software Architect to spearhead the design of next-generation, AI-driven SaaS solutions for industrial and enterprise environments. This role sits at the intersection of intelligent applications, scalable SaaS and cloud architectures, and cutting-edge Industrial IoT (IIoT).

As a Software Architect, you will shape the architecture of intelligent systems that connect real-time sensor data from industrial environments with powerful AI/ML models, advanced analytics, and modern web/mobile user experiences. You’ll design secure, multi-tenant SaaS platforms capable of delivering high performance, scalability, and seamless customer experiences.

From architecting event-driven microservices and data pipelines to designing agentic AI solutions and SaaS multi-tenancy strategies, you’ll influence every layer of our technology stack. You’ll guide engineering teams in building robust, scalable, and future-proof applications that transform how industrial, and enterprise businesses operate.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architect and design enterprise-grade software systems for:

• Industrial IoT (IIoT) solutions including real-time data collection, edge computing, and analytics.
  • AI/ML-driven applications for predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and intelligent automation.
  • Multi-tenant SaaS platforms delivering enterprise applications and services to diverse customers.
  • Internal enterprise systems and modern web/mobile applications.

2. Design and integrate:
   • AI/ML pipelines and model lifecycle management (including agentic AI, self-learning models, and automation orchestration).
   • Microservices architectures leveraging modern backend technologies (.NET Core, Node.js, NestJS, Python).
   • Event-driven systems using protocols like MQTT, Kafka, or AMQP for industrial connectivity and cloud integrations.

3. Define end-to-end cloud architectures leveraging AWS, Azure, or GCP, including:

• Multi-tenant SaaS design patterns for tenant isolation, scalability, and cost optimization.
• Serverless computing, container orchestration, and Infrastructure as Code practices.

4. Lead the architecture of modern frontend solutions:

• Using frameworks such as React (latest libraries) and Flutter.
• Delivering responsive, intuitive, and data-rich web and mobile user experiences.
• Architect API ecosystems supporting REST, GraphQL, and real-time data integrations across enterprise and SaaS platforms.

5. Design database and data pipeline architectures for:

• Structured data (SQL) and unstructured/time-series data (NoSQL, time-series DBs).
• Scalable, high-performance data storage and retrieval in SaaS contexts.

6. Define and enforce secure application design principles, including:

• Identity and access management for SaaS multi-tenancy.
• Encryption, secure API practices, and compliance considerations for shared environments.

7. Collaborate closely with:

• Data science teams to operationalize ML models in cloud and edge environments.
• Hardware/IoT teams for seamless integration from sensors to cloud.
• Product and UX teams to translate complex requirements into scalable architecture for SaaS and enterprise applications.

8. Mentor technical engineering teams:

• Guide architecture decisions, design reviews, and best practices for building scalable, maintainable SaaS and enterprise solutions.

9. Stay ahead of emerging trends in:

• SaaS architecture patterns and multi-tenant security.
• Agentic AI and Industry 4.0 technologies.
• Modern DevOps and cloud-native development practices.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Technical Expertise

1. SaaS & Cloud Architecture

• Deep experience designing and building multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
• Knowledge of SaaS architecture considerations:
  • Tenant data isolation and security.
  • Subscription management and usage metering.
  • SLA enforcement, monitoring, and cost optimization.
• Hands-on expertise in cloud-native development across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of serverless architecture, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi, etc.).

2. AI/ML & Agentic AI

• Hands-on experience deploying ML models with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Familiarity with agentic systems, reinforcement learning, and self-learning architectures.

3. Backend Architecture

• Expertise in distributed systems design with .NET Core, Node.js, NestJS, and Python.
• Strong grasp of microservices, domain-driven design, and event sourcing.

4. Frontend & UX

• Proficiency in modern frontend frameworks like React and Flutter.
• Experience designing highly interactive, data-driven web and mobile apps.

5. Industrial Protocols & IIoT

• Knowledge of protocols like MQTT, OPC-UA, Modbus, and integrating with industrial control systems.
• Experience with edge computing architectures and real-time analytics.

6. Data & Databases

• Expert-level knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL solutions (MongoDB, Redis, time-series DBs).
• Understanding of big data and streaming architectures for SaaS analytics.

7. Security & Compliance

• Deep understanding of enterprise and SaaS security principles, encryption standards, OAuth, JWT, API security, and secure DevOps practices.

Education

• UG: B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics/Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering.
• PG: M.Tech or equivalent preferred, but not mandatory for exceptional candidates.
